Melton Mencap is more than just a service provider; we are a community built on the support of people like you. By becoming a formal Member of Melton Mencap, you help ensure we can continue supporting people with learning disabilities and their families.


What does Membership mean?

When you join us as a member, you are doing more than just signing a form:

• You show your support: You officially stand behind our work and our mission.

• You have a voice: Members are entitled to vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), helping to shape the future of the charity.

• You make our work possible: Without our members, we simply would not be able to operate. Thank you.

Important Information

Melton Mencap is a Limited Company. By applying for membership, you agree to the following (as outlined in our Memorandum and Articles of Association):

• A Shared Commitment: You declare your support for the objects and goals of Melton Mencap.

• A Nominal Guarantee: In the unlikely event that the charity is wound up, members undertake to contribute an amount not exceeding £1 toward the assets of the company.

• Ongoing Connection: Your membership is ongoing, so you don’t need to renew every year. If you ever wish to cancel, you can do so at any time by contacting us.
